Quiztime

The creation of this particular quiz is down to a hefty nudge delivered by Frances from Harpenden, England. There's no theme this week.  Like the business of living, stardom or romance, it's just pot luck. As usual, answers will be given in the comments section. Good pot luck! (You'll need it!)

    1. I guess that in Arkansas you are too busy searching for roadkill and distilling moonshine to make time for quizzing.

  5. The quiz was rigged, otherwise I would have won, bigly. I'm the best quiz master this world has seen, so I should have won. The fact that I didn't just proves that it was rigged.

  7. 5/5. Two were educated guesses. I did get the first two Latin words. I've never heard of a rough collie. I thought Border collie. I have known a couple of rough dogs over the years.

  8. Oh dear, only four points for me: 1, 3, 6 and 9.
I don‘t follow the Kardashians in any way, thought 1982 instead of 1980, am not all that familiar with the entire works of Pink Floyd, took Argentina for Chile and Lassie for a Scotch Collie. Miserable, and hopefully no foreboding for next Tuesday when my team and I will play the last pub quiz for 2025.

  9. Thanks for my own personal quiz.....sadly I only got 5! I knew it was from Hamlet but thought one of the other characters was holding Yorick! Didn't get 1,2,5, 8 0r 10. Apparently the only difference between border, and rough collie is slight difference in their coat!! I chose the border!

  12. 50%, the real surprise is figured out the Latin, I have never studied Latin. I owned a Renault back in the 80's that one was easy for me. I was able to calculate the year that Reagan won, I voted in the election four years before when Jimmy was elected. Hamlet I knew, Rob K was a guess - won't the Kardashians ever go away?
