Love the whole of Britain but England is the jewel for me. I must admit, though, that now you've sparked me off, I think I do always introduce myself as being English and usually refer to " bla bla England ..." when I'm explaining things to students. And, having a quick look through the writings on my blog, I find the term England being used.<br />Having said that, though, I don't think I'd call myself British - and much less "a Brit" (Tony Blair put me off that!). But I do use the term UK from time to time when I'm feeling lazy, or restraints of technology (i.e. Tweeting) requires a shorter expression.
