Mobility

Hello! It's me Little Phoebe. Grandpa and Grandma look after me every Wednesday and Thursday now that Mummy is back at work. Grandpa says that I would win an Olympic gold medal if they had a crawling event for babies like me.
I like crawling. It's much safer than trying to walk like a grown up - up on your feet. I only like to walk when somebody is holding my hands. I feel much safer that way. When I try to do it on my own I am a bit wobbly and it is so easy to fall over with a bump!
Everybody agrees that I will be walking indeupendelberry on my own very soon and that's why Big Grandpa wanted to take pictures of me crawling around yesterday afternoon.

In the next picture you can see me standing up at the bottom of the big hill that leads to a magical land called Upstairs where my teddy bear Charlie lives. I like Upstairs because you can have bubble baths there and you can look out of the window and just be happy watching the world pass by. I like to say "Dat!" and point at the cars because I am only a little girl.
Love,
Phoebe

  5. Your Grandma and Grandpas house looks very white and clean, little Phoebe. Ideally you can add toddler art to the walls: mashed banana is great or crayon. A nice doggo to follow up and down stairs would be wonderful, too!

Keep growing and you will soon be able to teach Gramps to use a smart phone. Good luck with that!

  12. So cute. It's a case of having to move dangerous or breakable objects up high out of reach from now on. Once she can walk, it's just a case of when she'll announce she'll go backpacking around Vietnam - the time will come so quickly, believe me, so enjoy it while you can!

  13. Oh, she's still so beautiful, but almost a little girl - no longer a baby!
Will Grandpa go backpacking with her - she'll need someone to carry her rucksack and make up the shortfall on her pocket money.

    1. To prevent accidents she will need to have a kennel and a short chain. That should do the trick.

  17. Phoebe is gorgeous! My favourite early childhood memories spring from the days my grandmother watched me while my parents worked. Those lovely photographs will help revive those happy memories for her one day.
