They are truly the forgotten people.
ReplyDeleteThe genocide is happening in plain sight.
DeleteIt's even more horrific that the very people who suffered a genocide, are now doing to same to another group.
ReplyDeleteThat irony had occurred to me too.
DeleteAmnesty International took the government to court yesterday over their ghastly silence of not saying anything about the genocide that is taking place in Gaza. The little girl showing the photo on her phone of the healthy child she was once to the skeleton frame she has now is most telling.
ReplyDeleteIsrael has been careful to prevent proper, independent journalism from happening. That in itself is very wrong.
DeleteThere is nothing to say. The photo says it all.
ReplyDeleteIsrael has justified far too much killing of innocent people with the tired "Command and Control Centre" excuse.
DeleteIsrael are very cruel and the Western world does nothing.
ReplyDeleteThat inactivity, turning a blind eye to the genocide will come back to haunt The West.
DeleteI've previously stated my view on the underlying Israel/Palestinians issue. Since then the immediate crisis has only sharpened with the withholding of food; the (more) direct killing continues daily. Attitude of your govt and mine (Australia) is shameful. Majority of mainstream press no better, if not worse.
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening is both immoral and cruel. Netanyahu is a monster but nobody is reining him in.
DeleteAs Pixie said, the very people who suffered genoide are now implementing it. But to be honest it's the Israeli government (and not ordinary Jewish people) who are responsible. There are a lot of world leaders with small man syndrome at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSpot on, all of it.
DeleteWe must always remember that in any country that promotes blood lust and vengeance there will be citizens in despair who think otherwise.
DeleteHorrible what we do to children and yet say nothing
ReplyDeleteMany of the surviving Gazan children are damaged physically and psychologically forever.
DeleteAndrew has it right, the photo says it all.
ReplyDelete"Command and Control Centre" is what Israel always says without evidence.
DeleteIt’s not just children.
ReplyDeleteDid you hear the guy on Radio 4 yesterday am saying there was no shortage of food in Gaza?
Yes I did hear that callous propagandist Traveller.
DeleteAnd where is my comment?? Let me repeat myself: 😢😢
