Our son Ian and his Bosh! chum Henry have just launched their third book. It is called "How To Live Vegan", This one is not a recipe book: instead it is a kind of manual for vegans and would-be vegans.

Currently the lads are on a tour of the country giving talks on their new book at various venues including Waterstones bookshops. Shirley and I saw them on Saturday afternoon at The University of Sheffield. They were interviewed by Paulette Edwards from BBC Radio Sheffield in front of a hundred and fifty ticket holders.
Linked with this book launch, the Renault car company have customised the black  bodywork of their  Renault Zoe - an electric car that Renault have loaned to them free of charge since last winter. Who knew that the French could be so generous?

The Bosh! phenomenon rolls on. In Great Britain "How To Live Vegan" is available from Waterstones bookshops and from Amazon UK. I forgot to ask Ian when the book will be available in the good ol' USA. LATER...It will be available in the USA from October 15th. See Amazon USA.

Sorry for a month's absence, I've been to France. Lots of Renault there. Even a chateau Renault.

    1. They are a bit anxious about it - wondering if they can reach their target of 50,000 sales.

  4. Shouldn't you have fuzzied out that vehicle registration number? You've made it too easy to identify.

    1. You are right Tasker. Plenty of car thieves visit this blog but I don't possess a fuzzifier.

  5. Well done to Ian. You must be proud of his amazing success. Sadly I could not be exclusively vegan or vegetarian, but I know it's a growing trend, so I am sure his success will grow and grow.

    1. They do seem to have launched their books in conducive times - when "veganism" is a growing phenomenon and not as wacky as it was once characterised.

  9. Well, the car is supposed to be recognised, therefore a fuzzifyer is not necessary, I suppose.
Anyway, congratulations - this ongoing success is great, not only for Ian and Henry, but on the long run also for a lot of people and our planet.

    1. They are not preachy about their veganism. They know it is not easy to go the whole way but as you suggest, this planet needs all the help it can get.

  10. These boys are really doing well and good on them. I look at vegan recipes and see all the chopping and so on and go back to shoving a chicken in the oven, lol.
sorry about the lol, suggestions please for an alternative.

  11. Congratulations to the Bosh Boys! How exciting to have their third book already. I'll have to check this out as it could be a nice Christmas gift for my vegan granddaughter, Annika.

  12. Congrats again to these hard-working young men. I think this book may be more popular than even they hope it will be. Lots of people have questions about a vegan life; it's more than just cutting out meat.

If in future you need to hide a license plate number or anything else, just click on your photo, then click on Open, then on Word. Then choose the Eraser icon and go to it. Then Save and Exit.

But as Librarian has said, in this case, the car would be recognizable anyhow, so it probably doesn't matter. Also, is your readership that far-reaching? lol

Yes, I saw your lol comments to Briony :) lol lol

    1. Tasker Dunham is a curmudgeonly old geezer. I am sure he was just referring to the licence plate for devilment. I do hope this book at least makes their target of 50,000 sales in Britain.

  13. These boys are geniuses!! That sub-title is pure gold. They are so in the right place, right time, and they are the right people with the right stuff to make people take notice of a more ethical, more healthy way to live. The world needs BOSH! They are super stars!

  15. Now they could use the car to do a tour of Vegan Restaurants, with a view to writing a guide as their next book. I’m in Portugal where there is a chain called DaTerra, with a vegan buffet every day. I’m glad I discovered it: excellent value in a big meat eating country, where you long for more veggies in your diet. Pls pass on my suggestion, but I need a “spotters fee” if used.
