Deer Big Bloggy Peeple,

Hell-Oh! It's me, Phoebe! Grandpa asked if I wood like to right a guessed post hear on his bog and I said yes.

I am seven weeks old today and my life has started good. I have put on five pounds since I was born - just guzzling mummy milk. It is deliccs nice but sumtimes i have to scream to get it. Mummy can be sooooo sloooow.

I am learning a lot as the days pass by. I grew in Mummy's tummy and when I came out I didn't know much. Every day there is something new. I am trying to make sense of it all - all the shapes and sounds and things like that. I did not know that there wood be colours out here. I like colours (American: colors). And I herd a siren near the suprememarket. It made me jump. Mummy said it woz an amlulance. I don't know what that is.

I have got a big giraffe, a sloth, a hedgehog and a teddy beat called Brian. I have filled lots and lots of nappies. Mummy does not like them going to Landfill but I don't know where Landfill is. Is it over the rainbow?

Daddy is vewy nice. Mummy is vewy nice. Grandma is vewy nice. Brian is vewy nice. But the nicest of all is Grandpa. He sings to me whenever I see him.

I am feeling sleepy again now. Got to go boggy peeple. Have a nice day.

Love,

Phoebe  x

  2. Cute blog post from Phoebe. You have a beautiful grandaughter. You musn't spoil her, though. I bet you do. Whenever I see a child in a hand knitted garment, I know that child is loved.

  5. So beautiful, I think she actually looks a bit like you. I would love my Tom (Grandson) to be back at the beginning again, he was a lovely child. I can't believe he is 31 years old this year, so enjoy every single moment of your lovely Phoebe.

  6. What a sweet baby you are, Phoebe, and so bright for your age! Your grandpa will be your willing servant all your life so take full advantage of it, okay? Grandpas and grandmas are a lot more fun than mummies and daddies!

  9. See's so beautiful and so advanced for her age. To be able to write so young, you must all be so proud. A prodigy obviously.

I can't believe she's seven weeks old already. Time flies.

  10. Sweet Phoebe is a very beautiful child yet somehow still reminds me of her grandfather. How such things can be I know not. We have six grandchildren and the youngest one just turned 20, so I echo ccc, enjoy every single moment.

  12. She must be the youngest guest post writer ever at seven weeks old! I am truly impressed, especially how she seems to have already adopted your habit of offering your readers from the US the spelling of certain terms in their language.

  13. So Gramps is the nicest of all, is he?
Gramps is not just a rambler and wildlife photographer.
Gramps is a grammarian: Eric Patridge meets JB Priestley.
As for Gramp's Yorkshire puddings, fowk rave about them far as Bradford, Bingley and Bridlington. Happen Queen Mother enjoyed them wi her roast and gravy, on last royal visit.
Roll on day they give Gramps Order o' British Empire !

  16. What a delightful guest blogger Phoebe is YP. She already has the same love of language and description that you have, and it's a pleasure to read her musings. I look forward to many more blogs from this enchanting little girl.
How long before she starts walking with you and taking her own photos? I do hope that once she accompanies you on your rambles, Clint will behave himself and not be as uppity as he can sometimes be.

  17. Phoebe, what a treat to hear from you! You wrote a lovely post and I can tell you have a head start on your literary life. You are a beautiful girl and very fortunate to have such a loving family. Be sure to ask your Grandpa to read you many books and sing you lots of songs! I think he is already singing you songs and one day you will be singing along with him and giggling at the funny things all Grandpas do!
