Leftovers

Back home again. Uploading pictures during my time in south west France was almost painful. The process was terribly slow. Consequently, today's blogpost is just a gallery of previously unshared photographs.

  1. My favorite is the cow. What a beautiful shot!
I do like that sculpture, though. Those breasts are certainly firm!

    1. She was posing for McCowan's Highland Toffee - perhaps hoping to star on a relaunched wrapper.

  4. Love the distressed-look house and that window. They look very welcoming.

    1. Treacle became my best buddy even though he was quite mischievous. He knew how to open the cupboard door where the cat snacks were kept. I ended up having to put a gas cylinder in front of that door.

  6. I like that window... and the cross... and the cow... and... :)

  7. Seems like Treacle was quite happy to have you around! He's a handsome fellow, as were the others you photographed.

Having a new area to photograph is always a pleasure, isn't it? That's an impressive cobweb - were you a little afraid to see the spider who made it?

    1. I rather like spiders. Admirable, clever and very useful creatures. In contrast my thirty year old daughter becomes hysterical in the presence of spiders. Thanks for calling by again Jenny.

  8. A varied array of photos...memories of your time away from home. I imagine you are glad to be home.

I hope you read my response to your latest comment on my blog, Yorkie. I believe my response is warranted.

    1. I disagree. I do not think your response was warranted. You appear to have misinterpreted my light-heartedness. I am sorry that that happened.

  9. Hate spiders so that cobweb gives me the shivers.

    1. It was certainly a lot of work for the creature. I think he was trying to make a hammock!

  10. That is a good collection of pictures, and like Monica, I like them all - maybe the cobweb not so much, less because of its maker but because I wouldn't want any of my rooms be like that.
And how nice to see my blog open on your computer with Treacle by its side! Thank you for that uplifting surprise!

    1. It is a shame I didn't combine the two pictures. Window open with cow's head looking out. The neighbours would then be entitled to say "That woman next door - she's a right cow!"

  12. Love them ... thankyou. Yes I loved the cow photo as well with those amazing alps in the background.
