  5. 6 out of 10. Gave Gandhi Nehru's name. Had no clue on Poetry or Athletics. And said Marlene was Hedy. Oh well. I think my best outing so far.

  7. 9/10 I missed Usain Bol. Had I thought about longer, I think I would have got him too. I've no idea how I knew Woody Guthrie. Just the word folk and the rough age of the photo I suppose.

  8. Unsurprisingly, I didn't know #4 (still don't know him), and stupidly, I didn't look properly at Indira Gandhi and took her for Golda Meir.
But 8 out of 10 is not too bad pre-breakfast, is it!

    1. Yes. Not bad at all. Woody Guthrie was a huge inspiration to Bob Dylan.

  9. Hooray, I got 8...best score yet, though my answers were more guesses from the headings than recognising some of them. Missed on 4 and 9!

  19. 4 or 6, depending on if the Almighty Quizmaster accepts answers like "she who was married to that other scientist and they both got the Nobel prize", and "she who wrote Glaskupan" (the Swedish title of the novel The Bell Jar). (The names would probably have come to me sooner or later - I just didn't take the time to wait for them...) I too misstook Dietrich for Garbo.
