The creation of this particular quiz is down to a hefty nudge delivered by Frances from Harpenden, England. There's no theme this week. Like the business of living, stardom or romance, it's just pot luck. As usual, answers will be given in the comments section. Good pot luck! (You'll need it!)

Miserable fail. I only got half of them correct. I can't believe I missed the Pink Floyd question.
ReplyDeleteI guess that in Arkansas you are too busy searching for roadkill and distilling moonshine to make time for quizzing.
Delete3 correct; 7 wrong. :(
ReplyDeleteAt least you are prepared to admit it Ellen!
DeleteI only got 6 right. Not my finest hour.
ReplyDeleteYour finest hour was the day you were born. It has all been downhill since then Debra.
DeleteThe quiz was rigged, otherwise I would have won, bigly. I'm the best quiz master this world has seen, so I should have won. The fact that I didn't just proves that it was rigged.
ReplyDeleteWho am I?
You are Nurse Pixie! First the falling over and now this!
DeleteI got only #1 and #8, failed badly didn't I?
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%.
Delete5/5. Two were educated guesses. I did get the first two Latin words. I've never heard of a rough collie. I thought Border collie. I have known a couple of rough dogs over the years.
ReplyDeleteAye laddie - I bet you have know some rough dogs down on the Melbourne waterfront!
DeleteOh dear, only four points for me: 1, 3, 6 and 9.
ReplyDeleteI don‘t follow the Kardashians in any way, thought 1982 instead of 1980, am not all that familiar with the entire works of Pink Floyd, took Argentina for Chile and Lassie for a Scotch Collie. Miserable, and hopefully no foreboding for next Tuesday when my team and I will play the last pub quiz for 2025.
Four? Don't they have schools in Germany?
DeleteThanks for my own personal quiz.....sadly I only got 5! I knew it was from Hamlet but thought one of the other characters was holding Yorick! Didn't get 1,2,5, 8 0r 10. Apparently the only difference between border, and rough collie is slight difference in their coat!! I chose the border!
ReplyDeleteI thought you knew your dogs! Disappointing knowledge gap.
DeleteI failed 2, 4, 5 and 10. The Latin was our school motto so that was easy peasy.
ReplyDeleteDid you attend The Casanova School for GIrls?
DeleteJust 6 right this week.
ReplyDeleteJust six? That makes you cleverer than most contestants JayCee!
Delete50%, the real surprise is figured out the Latin, I have never studied Latin. I owned a Renault back in the 80's that one was easy for me. I was able to calculate the year that Reagan won, I voted in the election four years before when Jimmy was elected. Hamlet I knew, Rob K was a guess - won't the Kardashians ever go away?
ReplyDeleteWon't the Kardashians ever go away?...Sadly - only when hell freezes over.
Delete1. Hamlet
ReplyDelete2. 1980
3. No idea.
4. Neither know, nor care.
