Video

Trip Advisor have launched a new facility that allows travellers to create quick videos that showcase their travel photos. It's called "TripWow!". I played around with it, inserting some of my pictures from Huddersfield - taken last Saturday. It took me about ten minutes to put together. At times, the picture quality is somewhat flawed but the process was easy and fun. I guess it's a clever way of promoting the Trip Advisor cause. You need to click on the arrow in the middle and then click a second time to be taken to the video at the Trip Advisor website. Don't worry, the show only lasts a couple of minutes.

    1. Thanks for the feedback Helen. You click once on the arrow in the middle and then you click a second time to get to the video. Let me know if that didn't work either.

  4. This is brilliant YP ! Thoroughly enjoyed the show - even though I've already seen all the photos. Will this be your new form of blogging?
Funnily enough we are looking at Trip Advisor, planning our next holiday !

    1. Trip Advisor can be very helpful re. hotels and restaurants but you sometimes have to read between the lines and look at how many reviews a particular reviewer has posted. I have been contributing to Trip Advisor for a few years now.

    1. It's not the movement that makes you giddy Libby, it's the six gin and tonics you had at lunchtime.

  6. Nice little toy, works fine for me, too.
But I still prefer looking at your pictures here on your blog, and reading the descriptions you put together so well.
I'm on TripAdvisor, too, but have not posted any review in a long time. The last one was, I think, of Boxtree Cottages or Matchbox Cottage (where we usually stay when in Ripon).

    1. I thought that you were quite tall Miss Arian but to stay in a matchbox cottage I guess you must me the size of an elf... or maybe even smaller... and your sister stays in the matchbox too! Amazing!
