Yes - not so awful. Again you tried your best.
DeleteWoo-Hoo! 8 out of 10 this time. I didn't know Jim Reeves or Trump's running mate.
ReplyDeleteDid you know the name of Australia's current PM?
DeleteOf course, the man is on our news almost daily.
DeleteTwo! I got two. Not impressed with the calibre of these questions. Very hard. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Sweet dreams!
DeleteI am not very good with US-themed questions or country singers from the 1950s and 60s, but at least I got the answers right for 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9.
ReplyDeleteI guess that work gets in the way of your quizzing preparation.
DeleteOh dear 6 out of 10. Dunce hat again.
ReplyDeleteThere will be plenty of others in the corner with you JayCee.
Delete7/10. I am surprised I didn't know 8. I missed 2, 7, 8.
ReplyDelete7/10 proves that dementia is not pursuing you... yet!
DeleteI think I will steer clear of pub quizzes.....I only got 1 , 8 and 9 ...pathetic!
ReplyDeleteI thought that Jim Reeves would be your cup of tea Frances!
DeleteI love you because you understand, dear
Every single thing I try to do
You're always there to lend a helping hand, dear
I love you most of all because you're you
Guess what I knew besides No 8? (There's a clue among Bob's answers... My reaction was identical!)
ReplyDeletePeppa Pig? Greta Gris in Swedish!
DeleteThe Swedish name I did not know! I just searched your blog and I think it's probably from here that I know Peppa Pig at all ... ;-)
DeleteJust give me the £1m question. I can't be bothered with all these preliminaries.
ReplyDeleteThis is a series of fun quizzes without pecuniary reward. It is not all about money you know Mr Dungham.
Delete6 out of 10 this week. It was very difficult.
DeleteI hope you got Peppa Pig Dave.
Delete8/10...didn't know Jim Reeves and thought the wildebeest/gnu was a yak. JD Vance is a fellow Ohioan, the town where he grew up is 20 minutes away.
ReplyDeleteI have read "Hillbilly Elegy". He has an ego like a blimp and the tact of a wildebeest.
Delete5 out of 10, I missed the least populous state question :(
ReplyDeleteHang on! You visited Wyoming just last year!
DeleteOnly 4/10. These were difficult for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for having a go Ellen! At least you got four.
DeleteOnly got these today 1,3,5,6,7,10. Talk about random! Good mix of trivia, Mr. P. On another note, I am sorry about your country's loss in football......again!
ReplyDeleteSix out of ten ain't too bad for a former mountain dweller.
DeleteI'm improving. 6 out of 10!
ReplyDeleteI guess Judy helped.
DeleteOooohhh, you're so cruel. No, I did it on my own. But I'm ashamed I thought Wyoming was more populous than North Dakota!
DeleteI answered 8 out of 10 correctly. I couldn't recall the name of the prime minister of Australia (though I knew for certain it was not Paul Hogan!) or the name Peppa Pig. I'm slipping. But that's okay. I'm 83. I remember Jim Reeves well. Sorry to be so late to the party.
ReplyDeleteWell done Bob! Your comment did not disappear. I am afraid I have to moderate comments because of past activity by trolls so there is always a delay before acceptable comments are posted.
