  1. And still people support him. I have commented before I have a friend who supports him. HIs comment today was

TDSers are calling Trump TACO. I’m saying he’s humanely trying to minimize violence in reaching his goals. But these are opinions. The fact is that the jury is out for two weeks. Until a final agreement is reached and we see its details and verification clauses, we cannot judge.

    1. How is it possible for intelligent observers to be hoodwinked in this manner?

  2. It mystifies me how anybody who calls themself a christian can support him. It's vile.

    1. It's like a horror novel in which a vindictive megalomaniac takes over the US presidency.

  3. A fine example of why children must learn and understand the word "NO" from an early age and why it is good to not always get what you want.
I don't understand why he is not removed from office by those who have more common sense.

    1. Has anyone been caricatured, reviled and mocked more than Trump in the history of this planet?

  5. It is hard to believe he has any support at all, but even some people like farmers are going broke because of his tariff actions, they don't blame him.

  6. Sometimes, I think, we should not be pointing the finger at the man but turn round and look at the people who have put him in power. I mean was it pure naivety or pure ignorance. Or just greed?

  7. Like Traveller, I have a friend who supports him - she thinks he's doing a wonderful job and is totally misunderstood by the majority of the world! She says that he isn't demented just "playing" at it to confuse everyone!

    2. It seems that when you have signed up for The Trump Cult, common sense and truth go out of the window.

    3. It’s more complicated than that but it is tiring when you counter an argument only to be told “you have TDS and there is no cure for that” or “I wish you wouldn’t get brain freeze whenever Trump’s name is mentioned”. I don’t mind people having differing opinions, indeed I quite like it - if they can explain why they feel/think a certain way. That approach helps me reflect on my own views.

  12. I'm beginning to think you're trying to say that you don't like the man? ... (Sorry, can't think of anything sensible to comment when reality goes beyond caricatures.)

  13. My sister, who is far more right wing than me, can't believe that there are still people who support that man. Unfortunately the family I married into still have some scales on their eyes - its exhausting.
