64

I could be handy, mending a fuse
When your lights have gone
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride
Doing the garden, digging the weeds
Who could ask for more?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me
When I'm sixty-four?

  1. How could we not, Yorkie...only if, of course, you can mend a fuse in between knitting a sweater...and only if you do the cooking and the gardening.

If, in fact, you are dropping a hint or two...Happy Birthday. If not, Happy Birthday, anyway...for whenever it is because you will have one! :)

  16. Belated Happy Birthday to you, Neil!

By the way, "When I'm 64" was the song my guitar teacher thought I was so good at playing that he wanted me to perform it solo on stage at the annual music school concert. I was 12 years old and said no.
