Puffins

On Puffin Island, the little puffins all go to nursery school.

This is Peter Puffin. He's a nice little puffin.

And this is Penelope Puffin who can be a wee bit naughty but underneath it all, she's also a nice little puffin.
Below these words there's a picture of Donald Puffin in his birthday hat and scarf. He's a nasty little seabird - always telling tales and saying bad things about the other puffins.

Donald used to be considered the naughtiest and sneakiest little puffin in Puffin Island Nursery School, until...
 Vladimir Puffin arrived:
...which may lead to
The End

    1. ...Penelope Puffin greeted the new boy with an enthusiastic kiss. Not easy when you have a beak like that. The new boy was called Andrew, Andrew Puffin. Rather than kissing girls he preferred to read books - Puffin books.

  4. I used to think all puffins were cute. I had no idea there was a Donald and a Vladimir!
Perhaps they could be exiled together on a remote little island somewhere far away.

    1. That remote little island ought to be Australia - assuming of course that you have room for them.

    2. Absolutely NOT!!!
And there is nothing little about Australia.

  5. Don't frighten the children. Would it not be marvellous that with a flick of the wrist we could change all dictators into frogs.

  6. The Donald Puffin does not look nasty at all. I quite like his yellow socks, I have a similar pair.

  8. I think Peter Puffin looks very cute. Do you think he would like to come and live with me?

  11. Well, it's said that most traditional children's nursery rhymes and bedtime stories have unpleasant origins. I suppose it's too much to hope that the modern ones are any different.
I like Peter Puffin too - he looks a nice little fellow. In fact, apart from Vlad., they all look cute, and even Donald looks as though he wouldn't cause too much trouble!
