US Senator Bernie Sanders telling it like it is - on Friday.

Representative for Connecticut, John Larson - telling it like it is in The House of Representatives this past week.

  1. I fear by the time the American people wake up and realise the damage that has been done, it will be far too late

    1. After four years it will be impossible to get back to square one.

    1. His articulation of the anger he feels was very impressive. Hopefully it will inspire many others to join the fightback.

  4. Good words from Bernie Sanders and Mr Larson. I'm beginning to wonder when the people's rebellion is going to begin, surely there are enough people by now who have had enough of Trump and Musk? Enough people who decide it is time to start fighting back? There has to be something that can be done to stop this insane takeover of people's rights.

    1. I sense that a real fightback is brewing. Trump's popularity has plunged rather like the graph of Tesla sales in the USA.

  5. The push back is good, but how long will it take?

    1. I don't know but it is heartening to see that many Americans are not just lying down and taking it.

  6. Two very strong speeches, Larson expresses the anger at the whole injustice of it. How did it happen all so quickly? A coup of the worst kind.

    1. You are right. The damage caused by Trump and his gang will be dire by then.

    2. It is my greatest fear that in four years - nay, in two years - public participation in nationwide elections will not take place, then or ever again!

    1. Well the hardline Trumpians and MAGAts may not listen but gradually the majority of ordinary Americans will understand what is happening to their once beloved country.

  10. It is remarkable and appalling how quickly things are being changed in the USA. I fear there will be blood in the streets before too long. Trump and his ilk will be remembered for destroying America.

    1. Already Tesla cars are being vandalised in protest. The fight-back is happening though news media give it very little coverage. Fox News is like Trump's mouthpiece.

  12. There have been many, many protests across the country and many town hall meetings where people are speaking out. More and more news outlets are reporting on the illegal actions of this administration. Many, many lawsuits to stop what has been done and so I still have hope that they will be stopped. They have ruined our reputation and I am glad other countries are speaking out against them.

  13. Thank you for posting those videos. I had heard Bernie Sanders talking about this, but hadn't heard the Connecticut's representative. His anger was well directed. I am just so sick about what is happening here.
