Bellicosity

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen... he has been very threatening beyond a normal state. They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power - the likes of which this world has never seen before..."
- Donald Trump speaking at The Trump National
 Golf Center. Bedminster N.J. 8/8/17

    1. I couldn't imagine President Obama ever using inflammatory language like that.

  5. Not the best piece of grammar that I've seen. He's also getting very close to the "put up or shut up" stage now as well, you can only threaten people so many times before they ignore you and laugh at you.

    1. The American press say that this scary threat was ad-libbed, not premeditated...but of course they only deal in FAKE news. It's all FAKE, FAKE!

  6. It is scary, but at the same time ridiculous. Also, I ca not help thinking of what an East-German politician said in the summer of 1965: "Nobody intends to build a wall..." and we all know that the opposite happened only a very short time later. So maybe the opposite of this threat will happen - nothing.

    1. I suspect that the majority of North Koreans will be totally unaware of Trump's remarks. Let's hope his threat is like his Great Wall... the wall that will never be built.

  14. Remember how Saddam Hussein used to threaten "The Mother of All Wars"? It's always comforting to have our president echoing Saddam Hussein.

Seriously, I don't know why Trump doesn't realize that North Korea is like an insecure child in a classroom, jumping up and down and misbehaving in an effort to win attention. Do they bear watching? Certainly. Is it productive to threaten them? Not in the least.

  15. We actually have a lot in common with the North Korean people. They have no internet so the lies they are told they believe. We do have internet and the lies we were told by Russian hackers about Clinton we believed too. We both have narcissist nut jobs for "leaders", both with bad hair. And finally, both countries are starving...them for food and compassion and us for honesty and compassion.

  18. I like the idea of Trump as President. Some people don't. We live in a democracy though. He got more votes than the other guy. When it comes to North Korea I'd tell you the North Koreans to worry because the Americans are in a different league.

    1. Yes the USA is in a different league. That's why Trump should learn to be more aloof. Not sinking to to Kim Jong-Un's level.

    2. He should do what Obama did which was nothing. Except play golf. The truly nothing President.

  19. God help us, the world is ruled by utter fools, Well, that is what the bible says , the fact of it chills my blood but faith keep me from freezing, Trump and Kimmy-lad are somewhat similar, both look like spoiled children and get easily annoyed and stampeed about. The bad hairstyle among those foul leaders seem to increase the folly.
Honesty and compassion is indeed lacking, the bad thing about that is that it's contageous, blindfolds us. That is the reason why the nuclear bombings of the past seem to glide into oblivion, Heron, gruesom !! We have to fight this, regardless of who got the most votes. I vote for peace, in vain perhaps but still hoping. Keep watching the news YP, and give your comments, I think we need it!!!

  20. Well, Obama had his chance to fix the North Korea problem (and other problems)...but he did nothing. All he did was flap his ears; and smile as if he was in a toothpaste commercial!

The situation is becoming more serious by the minute...and it has been doing so for many years. This should have been sorted out years ago.

That little fat toad upstart in North Korea should have his toys taken away from him...and firmly put in his place....once and for all.
