Hey, I got 5! Best I've ever done!
DeleteYou are not just a pretty face Keith!
Delete1. 24
ReplyDelete2. Lima
3. I think foal like a horse, but I really wish it would be zebling or zebedee!
4. The fabulous Tracy Chapman!
5. The Birth of Venus. I remember the shell!
6. Charles de Gaulle and that's a guess,
7. I'm guessing Indian.
8.The Archies!
9. I haven't a clue.
10. Robinette.
Look at me rushing in at 90% though I had a couple of guesses that proved correct!
I thought you were a big Taylor Swift fan Bob! A Swiftie!
DeleteOh no sir. No sir. No.
Delete7 out of 10!!!! I missed 1, 4 and 9. I think this proves I know nothing about current pop music. Or (human) ribs.
ReplyDeleteAt least you are honest about your weak spots! Keep up the good work Bruce!
Delete9/10, number 6 was my downfall, I thought Charles De Gaulle then changed my mind 😫
ReplyDeleteSo close to 100% Sweetheart!
DeleteThree. Why do I even try?
ReplyDeleteThree is better than two!
Delete8/10 for me.
ReplyDeleteNot bad.
DeleteNot knowing much about Taylor Swift, I thought the famous girl was Hillary Clinton.
ReplyDeleteBut you are an American Margaret! How could you not know Taylor Swift?
DeleteI only missed #3 and #6!! I think that's the best I've ever done on one of your quizzes. A gold star, please!
ReplyDeleteThat's very good for a young one! Gold star on its way.
Delete9 out of 10 - missed Taylor Swift - I'm old....
ReplyDeleteI suspect that you are more into Chopin and Liszt than Taylor Swift Margie!
DeleteOnly six this time, I thought the baby zebra was a calf, had no idea who #6 was, thought Mauritius was in the Pacific, and thought the girl was Jodie Foster.
ReplyDeleteAS long as you tried your best Elsie. That's all that matters.
Delete8 out of 10 for me today. I have never heard or read Joe Biden's middle name anywhere and gave the human body two ribs less.
ReplyDeleteIf that's an indication how I'll be doing tonight at the pub quiz with my team, I'm alright!
Good luck tonight Meike! Remember that the capital of France is Paris and the year we are in is 2024!
DeleteThanks, Neil - we came out 2nd, not bad for the smallest team in the pub... only three of us made it. Our fourth member cancelled last-minute due to a deadline at work she had to meet, and our fifth one is gallivanting around Borneo right now.
DeleteThe two missing members need to get their priorities right!
DeleteFrom No 5 onwards OK. From 1 to 4 hopeless.
ReplyDeleteGlad you gave it a go Cro.
Delete7/10 today! Missed 3 (I thought calf), 9 (could have been anyone) & 10 (really - poor man, isn't that a girl's name?)
ReplyDeleteDoes a zebra look more like a cow than a horse? Honestly Carol!
DeleteNot too bad...I got 7 . Missed 4,9 and 10. I heard Biden's middle name only a few days ago and thought it ended in " ette" rather than the other 2, but chose the wrong one!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for another quiz....seems an age since the last one. Thanks.
See Tasker's discouraging comment below. That kind of reaction puts me off doing "Quiztime" posts Frances.
DeleteWe asked 100 people whether they enjoyed Yorkshire Pudding's quizes.
ReplyDeleteHow many do you think said "Yes"?
Tasker says 3.
Do you want to go HIGHER or LOWER?
Don't be so mean Tasker! Every time I publish a "Quiztime" blogpost my hits rise to over 300.
DeleteMust be because you play your cards right.
DeleteWhy don't you post a regular quiz Tasker? It's not easy getting the right difficulty balance and making it quite fun to do. But you never attempt the quiz - just mock it which I find dispiriting because I try my best with it.
Delete7 out of 10 this week.
ReplyDeleteNot bad Dave.
Delete9/10...I'm not a Swiftie.
ReplyDeleteAre you a Slowie Diaday? 9/10 was pretty good.
Delete80% for me. I missed 7 and 8.
ReplyDeleteBut The Archies were invented in America Ed!
Delete7 out of 10 this week. I wouldn't know Taylor Swift if I sat next to her.
ReplyDeleteShe wouldn't sit next to you David! Allegedly, she has already got a boyfriend. He plays for The Kansas City Chiefs.
Delete8/10 which is my best score ever on your quizzes, Neil! Yay!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are a brainbox Ellen!
Delete6/10. Incidentally I just heard or read somewhere that if you forget everything unimportant, it's much easier for the brain to remember the really important stuff... ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe everything is unimportant.
DeleteFun. I got 5 right . . . and two of them were guesses. I guess I need to do more homework.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating Tom!
DeleteUmm... can I have another few minutes? ....
ReplyDeleteYou could always cheat JayCee!
Delete6/10. I missed 4,5,9,10.
ReplyDeleteI thought you were a smartalec Andrew!
DeleteI'm hopeless at quizzes, but I did manage to get 5 right.
ReplyDeleteCould have been worse.
Delete8/10
ReplyDeleteGood effort John!
