Kiki the Kitten with her little friends, The Cute Chicks:-
Aw! What could be sweeter?

That's very cute, the chicks are lucky Kit isn't a bit bigger.
ReplyDeleteWhy? What are you visualising Elsie?
DeletePart of me thinks it's cute, the other part is aware that cats kill birds all the time. It's what they're known for. Watch out, chicks!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the video didn't end with Kiki killing one of the chicks.
DeleteMaybe unintentional but there will be tears and worse.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have a non blogging day. Have you ever considered such?
Yes. I have had non-blogging days this year Andrew. Didn't you like Kiki and the chicks?
DeleteWhat triggered this post, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I had been to the pub quiz, fell asleep watching "Match of the Day" and didn't have anything of note to blog about so I decided to give visitors a nice pre-Christmas gift - gentle and without an unhappy ending... "Oh Kiki, look what you have done!"
DeleteI was watching the older cat- mother, maybe? - in the background keeping an eye on proceedings. Growing up together, perhaps the companionship will last.
ReplyDeleteMmmm. I don't think so. There will be chicken for Christmas!
DeletePatriotism: scoundrel :: kittens: blogger.
ReplyDeleteI cannot decipher this Marvellous.
DeleteThe look on that kittens face will have me smiling all day!
ReplyDeleteYou are just a big softie Bob!
DeleteMy first thought was those cats wouldn't survive in the wild. Maybe if we raise kittens with chicks as companions, it will change their behaviour around wild birds. My final thought is a little more evil, playing with your food.
ReplyDeleteYou should have just relaxed and enjoyed the video David. Too much thinking!
DeleteBabies of all sorts are adorable. Baby chicks move quicker than I would have thought.
ReplyDeleteWhen was a young man I saw chicks move much faster than that when I asked for a date!
DeleteI'm scared to watch it. I don't want to see the blood.
ReplyDeleteNo. I wouldn't do THAT to you Steve!
DeleteCurious how the kitten is not overly agressive and the chicks seem to have no fear. There may be a lesson there for we humans.
ReplyDeleteThe kitten has not yet realised her potential for killing.
