Creatures

Let's pay a visit to the zoo...

Muskrat ( Ondatra zibethicus)
Musk Ox (Ovibos moschatus)
Muskanzee (Arrogantus prickus)
On another occasion, I may share some of my thoughts about Musk but for now these three pictures must suffice. Do you have any thoughts about this fellow yourself?

  2. Well, my thought is that he at least knows how to buy a president. Not that buying trump is that hard. $$$$

  6. Musk and Trump are just insane. Watching Trump speak today was something else; a complete, uninformed nut. And his drug-addled son wandering around Greenland? Oh my god. Don't get me started on their nonsense about Canada. I can't even believe this is the world we're living in here.

    1. We are to understand that he is some kind of genius but he is seriously lacking in plenty of desirable human traits - including common sense and kindness.

  10. My friend's daughter died after years of abuse by grooming/rape gangs. She was 13 when it began and died from a drug overdose aged 20. Despite the best efforts of her family, she could not be saved. The Maggie Oliver Foundation also did all they could for her. In this instance I am grateful that Elon Musk has drawn attention to these crimes against children.

    1. Heart-breaking story but Britain didn't need an ill-informed billionaire foreigner creating waves. The difficult issue has previously been addressed and remains under constant scrutiny. Hundreds of perpetrators of Pakistani and Bangladeshi heritage are currently in prison. There are no simple solutions.

      Delete
    2. Actually, it did need a billionaire foreigner to get attention back onto this ongoing criminal conspiracy. There may be some of the lowlife perpetrators in jail, but we have come nowhere near lifting the lid on the horrendous scale of the establishment cover-up. No wonder Sir Kneeler doesn't want an enquiry (and I bet many of the previous Conservative administrations likewise), as it will lift the stones on the scale of involvement of councils, police, social services, CPS etc.

    3. What cover-up? The only cover-up that I could see was in the communities from which those vile sexual predators emerged.

    4. From the various reports on these gang tapes, it is clear that police chose, or were instructed, to ignore all complaints from the white teenage girls, and in some cases appeared to turn their complaints round to portray those girls as the perpetrators. To me, that is clearly a cover-up.

  11. I think it would be a fascinating and insightful experience to sit down with him and talk over a cup of tea. Would we learn anything about the man behind the facade?

    1. We might learn that his narcissism is on a par with Trump's.

  12. Greater Manchester Police did virtually nothing to help my friend's daughter. The Crown Prosecution Service directed that the men continually abusing her should not be charged with rape The shame of it is that UK politicians (of both parties) have not implemented the Alexis Jay Inquiry recommendations. Someone needs to create waves.

    1. Someone like Jess Phillips. She has been making those waves for years. This is not a straightforward matter to address. It is a tangled web.

  29. The man is a nutter. He has a prescription for ketamine and he has a history of pretty serious drug use, drugs which would prevent him receiving a security clearance. I read someone praising his intelligence and suggesting we ignore his crazy talk. Right... Seriously mentally ill people can be very intelligent, but despite that, I'm kind of a mind that serious mental illness should preclude a person from wielding influence in our nation's politics.
