ReplyDeleteOh dear. What IS IT about Englishmen and 'humorous-shaped' vegetables?? Terry Pratchett in "The Truth" expounded on it, but I didn't really believe him until now.

ReplyDeleteA few years ago, my friend found a hermaphrodite carrot in her garden. She ended up selling it on Ebay! Alas, her "anatomical carrot" site is no more, but I got to see the thing in person. I think it went for $50.00 and was bought by some museum that collects curiosities of that ilk.
ReplyDeleteP.S. When her inlaws found out about the anatomical carrot venture, they said, "This puts your parenting into question." Hah!
ReplyDeleteYou are a very naughty person! But what made you think of me, pray tell?
ReplyDeleteI will show my teenager these- he will love them
