Don't you think that Mother Nature is wonderful? Inspired by Katherine's recent New Zealand fruit photos (Last Visible Dog) I give you some of more of the Earth's bounteous fruits below:-

ReplyDeleteA few years ago, my friend found a hermaphrodite carrot in her garden. She ended up selling it on Ebay! Alas, her "anatomical carrot" site is no more, but I got to see the thing in person. I think it went for $50.00 and was bought by some museum that collects curiosities of that ilk.
