These pictures of the great day came from camera phones. The professional wedding photographs will take three or four weeks to arrive.

Happiness just pours from your blog this morning!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful memories made for you all.
Heartening to see people being happy. A nice antidote to the negativity we see all around.
I am glad you spotted that contrast Christina. I very much felt it that day.
DeleteBeautiful people on a beautiful day! Thank you for these pictures. I love Shirley's dress and how in that picture with Frances, the real flowers seem to merge with the painted/printed ones.
ReplyDeleteFrom the few pictures we have seen of yourself and your family, I gather Frances comes after you and Ian after Shirley.
You are very observant Meike! I agree with you but I don't think I have ever heard anybody else say that!
DeleteBoy! That sure was a large wedding party!
ReplyDeleteLovey photos, Yorkie...colourful, happy, full of positivity and optimism. Thanks for sharing with us. :)
You are most welcome Lee. Thanks for visiting today.
DeleteFrances is all class, as evidenced by her wedding style!
ReplyDeleteShirley and carolyn are in strikingly similar outfits, was it designed that way?
(for me) it's strange to see Ian in this context, far from bosh and black shirt.
I bet you will enjoy the phone photos as much or more than the professional ones!
I think the professional pictures will be first rate Kylie.
DeleteGreat photos of a day filled with joy and happiness.
ReplyDeleteLord knows, we need more of them Mary!
DeleteGreat shots! Who needs a professional wedding photographer?! :)
ReplyDeleteIf only we had thought ahead, we could have employed you Steve! We would have paid you in shards of crockery, broken bottles and flower seeds.
DeleteThank you for sharing these. A wonderful day preserved in photos.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what kind of hat you will wear at Kay's wedding?
DeleteWonderful pictures of a great day! Are Frances and Stew on a honeymoon trip? I was wondering about that yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThey have gone to Florence!
DeleteThe real one - not the Disney version that you inhabit with Gregg, Marco, Ginger and George!
Wow. Was there ever a more beautiful day for a wedding? Oh my, your daughter is so lovely, and Mrs. Pudding is a stunning MOB. And whew -- I'm glad that wine is vegan so that Ian could let loose.
ReplyDeleteWe know the bride wore white and was gorgeous, but what's the story behind the brown check groomsmen's suits? It looks very Edwardian! Did you also wear something in that palette?
Stewart wanted that tweedy outdoor look. I went for pink linen with a straw boater and spats. We needed every day to be beautiful Vivian - not just Saturday but Sunday and Monday too and Jehovah in his wisdom answered our prayers. It was truly magical and joyous.
DeleteI think I mostly love how happy the groom looks. He and your daughter both just radiate "rightness." Your wife is gorgeous. Everyone is gorgeous! Could the day have been more perfect?
ReplyDeleteIt would have been even more perfect if I hadn't lost that damned key! This will be the subject of another blogpost Madame La Lune.
DeleteYou have a beautiful family Mr Pudding, you are truly blessed.
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to take things for granted isn't it Sue?
DeleteBeautiful photos Mr P.
ReplyDeleteThank you JayCee
DeleteWhat happy, beautiful pictures! I especially love the one of Shirley and Frances! Where's the one of you with the bride? You had a perfect, beautiful day for the wedding!
ReplyDeleteMe with the bride? That would be like Quasimodo with Esmeralda!
DeleteI love the hats on the ladies. They're just fabulous. The entire event was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed Allison.
DeleteWhat happy faces! Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteSunshine makes everything look better doesn't it Jenny?
