Quiztime

Okay. It's time for another quiz with your genial host and quizmaster Mister Yorrrrrrrrkshire Pudding! (Sound of riotous applause and stomping of feet). Grinning like a Cheshire cat, he steps up to the microphone in his gold lamé suit and purple dickie bow.

"Good evening quizzers! Let's not hang about. It's time for "Quiz Time"! And for tonight's quiz, the theme is food! After all, we all eat food don't we? And looking at tonight's audience I would say that some of us eat too much of it!  (Gales of laughter) Food is something that all human beings have in common.":-

    1. A political leader who came through TV advertising and chairing a reality TV show! Years ago it would have been totally unimaginable.

    2. Don't forget, it doesn't seem all that long ago when we had a president who had been a long time television show host, movie actor and radio broadcaster. So we do have a history of electing these sorts of people. Ronald Regan was also polarizing in his time though Trump makes Reagan's polarization look more like a mixer.

  21. 90% this week, my best so far. I guessed Austria, instead of Germany, on our road trip we visited both on the same trip - so they kind of run together. (And made a wrong turn and went to France for 3 minutes.)

  23. I love cooking so my Monday morning started with 10/10. I took a guess at the Trump question and got the correct answer. Back in 2019, the Clemson Tigers won the National College Football Championship and President Trump invited the team to the White House. He served $5500 (USD) worth of McDonald's to the players and the media had quite a time with that.
