AyEye!

Using Microsoft Image Creator, I made some more AI images. All I did was to type in the titles of nine blogs and their locations. For each entry I was soon provided with four alternative images and for each blog I chose the image that I liked best. The first one is obvious - "Bless Our Hearts", Lloyd, Florida - but what about the other eight? Can you work any of them out before checking the answers at the bottom?

  1. I got "Hiawatha House" and "Shadows and Light" but wasn't familiar enough with the other blogs.

  2. Lovely images. The writer of Hiawatha House was one of my teachers in Junior High School. I never thought much of the name of the blog until made the image and then I realize I knew nothing about Hiawatha, so I looked it up.

I didn't know he was a peacemaker or how long ago he lived.

    1. Mr Kline was your teacher? Wow! Was he a cruel tyrant?

  3. I even missed Hiawatha House. I went back and it's really cool. You had fun.

  4. I knew 7 and 9, but couldn't pick the others. I LOVE the Mental Library image.

  5. I correctly guessed mine. I should have guessed 4 & 9. They are rather luscious images.

    1. Why not play around with the facility yourself Andrew? I know that you sometimes have time to kill in the midst of your busy schedule.

  6. I am not familiar with all of the blogs listed, but of course I instantly recognised my own - although I wonder what the Ludwigsburg element in the picture is supposed to be. Possibly the pseudo-Baroque swirls and ceiling paintings? Anyway, it is a place where I'd love to spend time!
Sparrow Tree Journal I should have guessed, but didn't.
The image for Nr. 7 could easily be a real photograph taken during one of your walks; in parts, Ireland and Yorkshire can look rather similar.

    1. Yes. I think you are right about the "baroque" nature of the library's decoration.

  7. Ooh, I managed to guess right for several of these. They are all quite nice images, worth stealing for our own blogs.

  10. I only recognized one of them.

  11. I don't understand the letters on the Bless Our Heart sign. And the man in the center looks like an aged Alex Trebek so I don't know why he is there.
I couldn't figure them out except for Meike's.

  12. That's pretty cool! I got "Hiawatha House," "Sparrow Tree Journal" and my own. (I'd have been quite happy if I'd taken that photo!) I'm especially impressed that AI incorporated religious-like figures into "Bless Our Hearts," which I guess was triggered by the word "bless" -- but maybe also because Mary so often posts pictures of her Our Lady of Guadalupe figures. Does AI see her images when it searches for pictures of Lloyd? I wonder.

    Did you do your own?

  13. I think 4 is wrong and was in fact "Riverbend Journal".

  14. I love the one for my blog!

  15. I thought 8 was fairly obvious. I should have guessed 2 and possibly 3. Most are blogs I don't follow. It's a very interesting concept though. I don't use Microsoft but rather fancy adding that to my list of challenges to be accepted.
