So there I was standing in the kitchen of our son's terraced house. Something caught my eye outside in his little urban garden. It was a...
Had to google this to get the reference but as soon as I did it was perfectly apparent to me.
ReplyDeleteExcellent caricature. Been listening to talk about him on our NPR all day long.
I have great sympathy and empathy for GB.
Trump "really likes" Boris Johnson so he must be a shit.
DeleteExactly.
DeleteRather sums him up I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are members of the circus audience. Want some candyfloss?
DeleteIf Bojo is voted in as the next Prime Minister, then that will make two idiots in "charge" of the world ! Heaven help us all.
ReplyDeleteI despair when a bumbling egotist like Johnson can become our P.M.. He was the worst Foreign Secretary in history. The way he talks is surely like the way he thinks. Mad.
DeleteJust seen the news. Fetch the popcorn somebody.
ReplyDelete...and the custard pies! Clowns like to throw them around.
DeleteWell, we all knew it would happen. This should be interesting!
ReplyDeleteCan a leopard change its spots?
DeleteSome ideas (Bojo!) are so perfect I get a tiny bit irritated that I hadn't thought of them first!!
ReplyDeleteMy condolences, by the way . . .
Thank you. I am wearing black today.
DeleteAddendum: I see by one article on Boris's ascension that he wished to follow in the steps of Churchill. That rang a bell -- Trump was said to want to be looked upon as Churchill-like, too -- that's why he often poses with a frown. You can't make it up, folks.
ReplyDeleteChurchill is dead so I hope they both follow him quickly.
DeleteI love your caricature! Your artistic talent is incredible. Just paint the world a circus and the ringmasters all clowns! (sadly)
ReplyDeleteI imagine you as a trapeze artiste Bonnie - swinging high in the air and waving at the crowd below.
DeleteOur countries are both in a mess these days. How has this happened?!
ReplyDeleteYou really are quite the artist, by the way. :)
Maybe only the distance that time and history provide will allow us to see clearly how this awful stuff happened.
DeleteClowns normally fall flat on their faces, or at least have a custard pie squigged on them. I just 'loved' his speech, everything thing promised to every man. We can't go wrong!
ReplyDeleteIs he Jesus in disguise?
